Our Technology Acquisition Services focuses on strategic technologies, products and vendors which are deemed critical to the customer’s IT infrastructure. We provide direct support to the customer’s managerial staff that is responsible for strategic technology implementations. We work closely with both IT and Procurement Services, and maintain ongoing contacts with major technology OEM vendors.
Our trained Service Engineers handle the customer calls and to do necessary service, inclusive of trouble shooting & parts replacement resulting high. Technology Acquisition Services also include:
- Participation in task forces appointed to study and/or select technology solutions
Collaboration in the development of solicitations (RFPs, RFQs and RFIs) for the acquisition of IT systems.
- Collaboration in the evaluation of vendor bids arising from solicitations
Review and negotiation of contracts and pricing for the acquisition of information technologies with OEM partners
- Collaboration with the customer IT and procurement departments in resolving serious difficulties they may experience with key vendors
- Negotiations on volume agreements, site licenses and other technology agreements for the customer to take advantage of the economies of scale
- Serving as the primary customer representative for the Technology Acquisition Support
- Development of policies, standards, practices, procedures, templates and other foundations for an effective technology acquisition process
- Collaboration with OEM vendors and technology partners in hosting seminars and presentation of latest technology trends
- Benchmarking and other technology evaluation of OEM vendor products and systems
